1. Data Collection & Usage

SEOSense collects only the necessary technical metadata required to perform an SEO audit of the active tab. This includes:

• Meta Tags: Titles, descriptions, and keywords.
• Structure: HTML headings (H1-H6) and image alt attributes.
• URL: The current page address to identify canonical and link structures.

2. Permission Justification

As per Chrome Web Store requirements, here is why we need specific permissions:

• activeTab: To read the SEO tags of the site you explicitly want to analyze.
• scripting: To run our optimized analyzer engine on the webpage content.
• sidePanel: To display your SEO report in a dedicated, non-intrusive window.

3. Storage Policy

We use Zero-Server technology. No data is stored in any database. All analysis results are stored in temporary browser memory and are wiped clean once the tab or side panel is closed.

4. Compliance

This policy is compliant with the Google Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We do not sell user data, and we do not use data for personalized advertising or credit-scoring.
